BB Update 7: Sing For Your Seniors and Other News

Hey all!  This week, we have a new video plus some cool news about other things that we've been doing.  Read on and find out...

First up, we have the first part of our two-part series on Sing For Your Seniors.  This is a great organization that brings music to senior centers throughout New York City.  Part one follows group founder, Jackie Vanderbeck, as she and several other amazingly talented people travel to one of their performances. We get to learn about what SFYS is and why it's such an important organization.  Also, you get to meet the wonderful singers (including Mara Davi who has been seen on Broadway in White Christmas and A Chorus Line).  Be sure to check it out and see if you'd like to participate!
(Edited to add: Part 2 has just been put up on the site!  Check it out here!)

Also, we created our first preview video!  Check it out:

We're going to start putting these together to give you a little taste of what's to come.

Recently, we became partners with MTI Showspace.  MTI ShowSpace is a social and professional networking site that lets you connect and build relationships with fellow theatre people from around the world.  They even have sections for job postings and rentals if you're looking for a musician or those period costumes that you can't afford to buy and don't have time to make.  Be sure to check them out!

One of our past video guests, Andrew M. Byrne, was recently named a Favorite Vocal Coach by the readers of BackStage magazine.  If you haven't seen it yet, check out his interview here.  Also if you like to read what some of his students said, check it out here.

Well, that's it for this week.  Be sure to check back for part two of our day with Sing For Your Seniors.  Have a great week and try to do something theatrical!

Until next time...
